Job Summary
As a Salesforce Solution Architect, you will be responsible for defining end-to-end Salesforce solutions that align with business requirements and technology strategies. You will work closely with business stakeholders, project teams, developers, and technical leaders to design scalable, secure, and efficient solutions on the Salesforce platform.
The role requires a strong understanding of Salesforce capabilities, enterprise integrations, solution architecture, and the ability to guide teams throughout the complete project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Design end-to-end Salesforce solutions based on business and technical requirements.
- Define solution architecture, integration patterns, data models, and security approaches.
- Translate complex business requirements into practical and scalable Salesforce solutions.
- Provide technical and solution guidance to development and implementation teams.
- Ensure that Salesforce solutions follow platform best practices and architectural standards.
- Identify technical risks, dependencies, and improvement opportunities.
Project Leadership & Delivery
- Lead Salesforce solution design and technical delivery across projects.
- Collaborate with project managers and delivery teams to support successful project execution.
- Review solution designs, technical specifications, and implementation approaches.
- Support project estimation, planning, risk management, and issue resolution.
- Ensure solutions are scalable, maintainable, secure, and aligned with delivery timelines.
- Participate in architecture reviews and technical decision-making.
Functional & Solution Leadership
- Understand business processes and identify how Salesforce can support business objectives.
- Recommend suitable Salesforce features, products, and solution approaches.
- Evaluate configuration versus customization and recommend the most effective solution.
- Design solutions that can support future business growth and changing requirements.
- Work with functional teams to ensure that technical solutions meet business expectations.
Stakeholder Management
- Work closely with business leaders, clients, project managers, developers, and technical teams.
- Lead solution discussions and communicate architecture decisions clearly.
- Present technical concepts and solution approaches to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Build strong relationships across internal and client teams.
- Act as a trusted advisor for Salesforce-related solution and architecture decisions.
Governance & Team Management
- Define and maintain Salesforce architecture and development standards.
- Ensure adherence to security, quality, and governance requirements.
- Conduct solution and technical reviews throughout the project lifecycle.
- Mentor Salesforce developers, consultants, and other technical team members.
- Encourage the adoption of Salesforce best practices and reusable solution patterns.
- Support continuous improvement in delivery processes and technical capabilities.
Required Skills
✔ Strong expertise in Salesforce Solution Architecture
✔ Experience with Salesforce platform capabilities and enterprise implementations
✔ Knowledge of Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), SOQL, and Salesforce configuration
✔ Strong understanding of REST APIs, SOAP APIs, middleware, and system integrations
✔ Experience with Salesforce security, sharing models, data architecture, and governance
✔ Ability to design scalable and high-performance Salesforce solutions
✔ Strong understanding of business processes and functional requirements
✔ Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills
✔ Experience providing technical leadership and mentoring teams
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Strong professional experience in Salesforce development, solution design, or architecture.
- Relevant Salesforce certifications such as Salesforce Application Architect, System Architect, Platform Developer, or other architecture-related certifications would be an advantage.
Preferred Experience
- Experience working on enterprise-scale Salesforce implementation and transformation projects.
- Experience with multiple Salesforce Clouds and complex business processes.
- Strong background in Salesforce integrations with external and enterprise applications.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams in an IT Services or Consulting environment.
- Previous experience in a Solution Architect, Technical Architect, or senior Salesforce leadership role.
- Experience guiding teams through solution design, development, testing, and deployment.
