📌 Job Summary

NHSRC is inviting applications from qualified and experienced professionals for various Consultant-level positions. Selected candidates will work on assignments related to health systems strengthening, public health programmes, technical assistance, research, programme implementation, monitoring, and other activities as assigned.

The role requires professionals who can provide technical expertise, analytical support, programme guidance, and coordination with government and other stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide technical and professional support in the assigned area.
  • Assist in planning, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of health programmes.
  • Analyse programme data and prepare reports, presentations, and technical documents.
  • Support development of guidelines, frameworks, tools, and other programme resources.
  • Coordinate with government departments, state teams, development partners, and other stakeholders.
  • Undertake field visits and provide technical assistance whenever required.
  • Perform other responsibilities assigned by the concerned programme or department.

Project Leadership & Delivery

  • Support planning and execution of assigned programme activities.
  • Monitor project progress against defined objectives and timelines.
  • Identify implementation challenges and recommend appropriate solutions.
  • Assist in developing strategies for improving programme performance.
  • Contribute to timely delivery of technical reports, outputs, and project milestones.

Functional & Solution Leadership

  • Provide subject-matter expertise in the assigned public health or health-system domain.
  • Translate programme requirements into practical technical solutions.
  • Support development and implementation of evidence-based strategies.
  • Review programme processes and recommend improvements.
  • Contribute to research, analysis, policy development, and technical documentation.

Stakeholder Management

  • Coordinate with central and state government officials and programme teams.
  • Work with development partners, technical agencies, institutions, and other stakeholders.
  • Participate in meetings, workshops, consultations, and review sessions.
  • Present findings, recommendations, and programme updates to relevant stakeholders.
  • Maintain effective professional relationships with project partners.

Governance & Team Management

  • Support programme governance, monitoring, and reporting mechanisms.
  • Ensure assigned activities follow approved policies, procedures, and programme guidelines.
  • Contribute to quality assurance and continuous improvement.
  • Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to achieve programme objectives.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to team members where required.

Required Skills

✔ Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
✔ Good understanding of public health and health-system programmes
✔ Experience in programme management, implementation, monitoring, or evaluation
✔ Excellent report writing and documentation skills
✔ Strong communication and presentation abilities
