Jobs Description

  • In the UPL Consumer products business, we are looking at growing our presence across the globe along with India as key market. Currently, we have 4 brands Tru nature, BitteR, All Rounder and Topgun in home care, personal care and car care segments. The business has touched monthly turnover of Rs 60-70 lacs in this year and we are pushing to grow the business in multiples in coming year. Hence, we are looking out at individuals who are dynamic, self-motivated and looking to grow in the career in leaps and bounds in a short period.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Scout for potential distributors, dealers, small industries and interested new entrants in the allocated territory.
  • Determine the size of the market, entry strategy, market focus & planning such as sales, marketing, competition, awareness, branding for the assigned region.
  • Handhold distributors through entire onboarding process and order collection.
  • Assist distributors in secondary sales with retailer order collections.
  • Assist distributors and retailers in demand generation for their stock.
  • To develop proper market understanding for the focused segments & Connecting with the distributors on regular basis to understand the know- how about the product and helping them make necessary secondary sales & get placed in the retail line.
  • Helping the distributors and retailers with marketing materials as & when necessary.
  • Work out on the go-to market strategies as per the market requirement.
  • Drive long term customer success acquisitions & retention.
  • Provide technical product knowledge to end customers, distributors and retailers
  • Conduct technical information sharing/demand generation meetings, events as per company’s planning.
  • Maintain business relationships with retailers and meet sales targets.
  • Manage and execute branding activities, product placements in the market.

Minimum Education

  • Any Graduation
  • UG: B.Sc (Agri)
  • PG: M.Sc (Agri)

Minimum Experience

  • Education – Any graduate
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in sales & Marketing in FMCG preferably in repellent products and above-mentioned peer category.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Awareness of local market, language and territory.
  • 2-wheeler & Smartphone must.
  • Enthusiastic, Punctual and Well-groomed.
  • Language Known- Hindi, English, local dialect.
  • Open for travelling of about 50-60km per day.
